What Is TPMS?

The temperature will slowly build up to the extent where it breaks the internal structure of tire, which results in tire blowout.
A direct TPMS system is invented to improve all the weaknesses found in the indirect TPMS. Instead, it attached a pressure sensor onto the tire valve stem to measure air pressure of the tire directly. The sensor also has a transmitter built in to send tire pressure information to a receiver unit inside driver’s car. Thus, the pressure sensed is the real air pressure reading of your tire and is very accurate.
It not only can inform driver on low tire pressure but also when tire pressure is high. Obviously, an overly-inflated tire will not do you any good. The tire tread will wear off faster since the tire’s contact surface to the road is smaller now.
